Hi
Just wandering what you would do.....i'm returning to fishing after a absence of about 10 years, i need a complete set up for course/match fishing ,I've got one hit with cash , do i get high end secondhand or new,its got to last so there wont be any upgrading for a few years???

I’m doing a similar thing and coming back after an extended break. If you can be bothered to work out what to buy, then second hand is the way to go.

For example I picked up a quite well used AWM 13L last year and it is one of the best bits of kit I have ever owned. The fact that it cost less than £50 is a bonus !
