Hi Folks - we belevie we have a new Yorkshire record for a Barbel.
(possibly North of England Record). The lump was taken from an undisclosed location on the River Wharf . It weighed a massive 15lb 8oz - Caught by Andy Thomas Sunday 16th July. The fish was weighed and witnessed by 2 other people - I should be able to put the photos up here later today.
Anyone know of anything bigger than this to come out of Rivers in the North Of England?
