good morning my fellow fishermen of the country...

hope we all enjoyed the 1st week of the river fishing, gutted about the weather, but thats ENGLAND for you [!]

got my 1st ever fishing match tonight, its a fun one, but pride is at stake..

my cricket club VS our local team SLEAFORD

venue - BURTON, Lincolnshire (some people will know it)
6pm start untill dusk
BBQ and beers available []

its a 7 v 7 affair with the main species carp and tench. Well up for it, i hope the rain stays away [8D]

saturday brings cricket again, 2 more games to go then the 1st half of the season is complete []

sunday brings cricket again

but my feeling is, the weather will play a big part in it being cancelled....

SO.....what are all you muppets up to over the weekend? [][8D][][]

Morning Newie. I like this Friday thread of yours mate. It was a good idea. Well I think so anyway.
Im making pellet this afternoon.
Tonight is chill out, home alone movie night with Saffron sleeping over at her mates and Linda babysitting for someone.
Ive got Flags of our fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima, so a bottle of chardonet and some nibbles with feet up with just me the dog and the cat.
We will be fishing somewhere tomorrow but I havent a clue as to where yet as I havent spoken to me mucker.
Tomorrow late afternoon/evening we will go to the boat and stay on it for the remainder of the weekend.Barby with our mates Saturday night.
Lindas turn to do the Sunday dinner so I will cruise it up to somewhere nice Sunday morning and tie up and fish the canal.
Get home late Sunday night shower and crash.
Hope everybody has a good un.

work saturday morning then sort gear for match on sunday at a private syndicate called lower hill farm much wenlock near shrewsbury,we have it every year, we have brekkie in the farm house all food is from the farm bacon,sausage,eggs,mushrooms in getting hungry already!
