Can anyone tell me how Wylands, in Battle, East Sussex is performing.

I am going on Wednesday (tomorrow) and would appreciate any tips having never fished there before.

I am hoping for a bit of sport from perhaps medium to small carp, crucians, tench etc. Possibly fishing a float or light ledger set up.

I'm certainly neither a Match nor Specimen angler !

Hello mate and welcome to Maggotdrowning.
From the reports that i've heard Field Lake would be the best bet for some consistent sport.
Though for a mixed bag Rosies Lake may be the best option.
To be on the safe side ask Keith who sells the day tickets,he'll put you right on the day.[;)]

Hi Funkenstein, welcome to the mad mad world of Maggotdrowning.

A few of us are meeting up at Elhpicks on Saturday 26th April and I will be staying in with my mother in Catsfield which is only about half a mile away from Wylands. So I could well be there on Sunday 27th April for a few hours. You will have to let us know how you get on.
