Wouldn't drink it. I'd be reporting it.

Where I live there's plenty of fluoride in the water. Moved to Sheffield and a different kind of water for a few years made my teeth brittle.

I’d drink it, have done plenty of times in the past, in customers houses when they’ve complained of white water, to prove there’s nothing wrong with it. Normally just aeration after works in the area. Put it in a clear plastic bottle, shake it for a few seconds, see if it clears from the bottom up 💦👍🏼

Seemingly I have been informed there was a burst water main a few miles away.
This is in rural Northumberland so could take a while to settle down.
I have drank it as tea after boiling.
Dog got bottled water from car from Gateshead 😳

It's your new lockdown water designed to thin the population out a bit. A few glasses of that and you will forget all about covid. Or if you like conspiracy theories it's a new covid cure been given to you secretly to test it's effect

If your tap has a fluted spout it may very well be air. Pour a load into a tall glass and watch the effervescence rise up up and away.
