World Club Qualifier dates and venues announced!

After another successful year of one-off qualifier matches for the spots in this year’s FIPSed World Club International events, the Angling Trust have once more picked two fish packed venues to host the qualifier matches for 2019, these are;

• World Club Feeder Qualifier- Saturday 28th September, Arrow Valley

• World Club Float Qualifier- Saturday 5th October, Aire and Calder Canal (Beavers bridge)

Teams are to be made up of Five anglers and entry will once more be kept at £80 (payable at the same time as submitted entry forms), with £150 pools to be paid on the day. Qualification this year will be for the 2020 finals, with the Feeder being held in Bulgaria and the Float in Serbia.

Neither competition has a sponsor in place at present, as a result teams wishing to represent England in either the float or feeder events must fund their own participation in the respective World Championship. The World Club Float and Feeder competitions will be held in Serbia & Bulgaria respectively in 2020 and thus teams should expect costs to be circa £8,000.

This event is open to all clubs/associations in membership to the Angling Trust and anyone taking part must also have individual membership.
