Another YouTube video find and I thought a decent watch. He certainly shows you can still catch a few when the river is up and you find the right peg. Problem is for me finding the right pegs. I know what to look for, trouble is finding it. Videos like this tide me over when I'm stuck inside with no bait and wanting to go fishing so thought I'd share.

Superb stuff.

Just shows that the fish will feed and feed hard in the right water conditions. And even more so with a big weather change forecast to follow.

I once had 30lb of Perch out of the Trent at Burton Joyce in a flash flood. The only place to cast was a back eddy created by the rising flood water. A real red letter day ❤️

His peg does look very good for the conditions in the video, I also like the way the video shows the bites, not all videos do that.

Just be careful guys if you’re planning on visiting a swollen river. They can be very dangerous places to fish. Let’s not be having any accidents. There’s always another day. Stay safe guys.
