WINDOWS 98 HELP NEEDED PLEASE

Hi All, can anyone of you clever ones out there tell me if it is possible to restore deleted files somehow on windows 98 se.

I have just purchased a scanner, that refuses to work properly, as it tells me that MSPAINT exe MFC42DLL6452 is missing EXPORTED.

I have no ****** idea what that means, or if I've deleted something by accident.

Until I get this scanner useable I cant post any pictures on MD's !!!

and look for the file to download

David to install mspaint in WINDOWS 98


- Click Start / Settings / Control Panel
- Double click Add Remove Programs
- Click the Windows Setup Tab
- Double click the Accessories icon and
check or uncheck paint depending upon if you want to install / uninstall mspaint.

When prompted for a diskette insert your Windows CD or try point to c:windowsoptionscabs (please keep in mind however that this directory may not exist on your computer). If this is the case you will need your CD.

You can probably tell that by the fact that some of my later posts in the " corner Peg" now have pictures !!
