hi guys,
anyone fished this pool recently think its the middle pool, need to now average depth and best method to fish etc.

Bait restrictions are as follows.....only baits allowed are maggotts,meat.corn,bread,worms and casters...had a walk around there yesterday no one was on the middle pool,but some pleasure anglers fishing the far pool were catching some nice carp on the waggler using bread and meat for bait,they were feeding very little,and only fishing about 2/3 rod lengths out,also seemed plenty of fish in there margin pegs....

cheers mate is the pool still full of silvers i heard they have put carp in,do you now is there enougth carp in there to make them worth while going after on a contest.

There are plenty of carp in Whispers Pool now - up to 5lbs or so , also plenty of tench and silver fish.Our match in May was won with 24lbs - meat fished shallow at 14 metres.Most methods will work.If pegged near the island , it's worth trying the feeder.Don't ignore the margins.We usually fish a Winter League match there as well - 34lbs won it in March this year - carp on maggot feeder tight to the island.
