which brolly???

hiya all, its new brolly time for me, so what type?
i was thinking of the daiwa flatback, has anybody got any comments for or against?

what brolly do you use and what would you recommend??

i have a simple one but them waterline ones that the back fold out like a little shelter look good

ive got one of the keenets flatback ones & never had a problem its got the pole zipped hole which ive found very handy

tight lines.

I use a old browning one but if i was going to buy a new one it would be a flatback but i think preston do a flat back one so it would be that!

Ray, the type of brolly depends a lot on where and what you fish for. In the summer I use a bog standard nylon brolly. In the winter however its a PVC 50inch rib job the one with the removeable pole. I then use 2 storm rods to support it. I can get right underneath it.

Preston ES flatback. Very well made & strong, if a bit heavier than others.
