Where to fish

Having just retired it’s time to dust off my equipment and start having a few days out,as I am new to the area was hoping some of you can advise of some quite places to spend a few hours
I am located in little hulton near Bolton thanks in advance

Welcome!! Bradshaw Fisheries and Gingham Fisheries are the two i’d go too in Bolton

Cheers guys going to have a run round tomorrow and see what takes my fancy if I get the bug back is the Warrington ticket worth they seem to have some good water

Only place I've ever fished round that neck of the woods is Runsworth Resevoir in Lostock.
Fished a couple of matches there in the late 80's. Not sure if it's a day ticket water these days but there used to be some huge perch in there & I had a couple of good days.

Welcome to the mad house, have a look at Newton Le Willows A A or St Helens AA also a little closer to you Leigh AA they have a good waters close to you .
