Oh yes and she's had a nibble already.
The second will be done in 3 days with a different glaze normally pineapple rings and is a lot lighter in colour. The 3rd is cooked on the 30th with a clove and glace cherry glaze. Normally all gone by the 3rd or 4th.

I will cook bread and apple pie. The bread will have herbs so it gives a nice added flavour to toast and pate starter. Normally make a batch of rolls as well for teatime or Boxing Day.

I have a lot of friends who try to find out ?.
I also give a few slices to our elderly neighbours. Even though l do 3 x 4kg ones every year they dont seem to last very long and your correct they are as l have been told, scrummy . I thoroughly love seeing their faces savour every bite, it makes me so happy to think l did that.

I used to make a Chrimbo cake but I haven't for the last couple of years... when I was a butcher I could make 3 and 5 bird roasts.. quite easy really... not done that for donkeys years though
