What kind of fish is this ?

Hi Andy and welcome to Maggotdrowning.

The fish in your picture above is one of the many types of Hybride Carp it may be a cross with any of the following Brown Goldfish, Cruican, Goldfish.

Or i could be what is called a F1 hybride which is a mixed cross that a lot of waters now stock as they only grow to about 4/5lb but grow quick.

Also the fish in the picture below (from your site)(hope you dont mind) is a small Carp and not a Bream as you quote.

Thanks Malc, now that you've pointed out my mistake it does look " Carp shape" doesn't it, must have been all that Silver that pointed me in the wrong direction, also thanks for the info on the mystery fish, much appreciated.
