What fish is this?

This was caught on the River Weaver in Nantwich. A hybrid of some type?
It fought like a chub and was stocky. Weighed a couple of pounds. Obviously has bream genes, but doesn’t seem quite right to be a rudd or roach/bream hybrid. Looks a lot like an ide, but not heard of them being caught here.
Any help appreciated!

Thanks for the info. The golden colour swayed me away from thinking it was a roach/bream and the fin colour didn’t seem right for a rudd/bream. As you say though, I guess each one can differ. Confusing!

Here’s a fish I caught from a Cheshire lake the other week. Rudd/bream hydrid?

The size of the mouth on the first one makes it looks suspicious to me too, though agree prob a Roach/Bream hybrid.

If you think that's weird, take a look at these. Look at the tail and fins.

Op = Roach bream hybrid.

Peters = fan tail bucket runner. Only to be found in the ponds of South Kirkby. ?

The thing is, these are not stock fish, neither are the Koi. I think someones emptied a garden pond and dumped them in the club lakes.
