I've been catching roach, Rudd, skimmers and hybrids in a local pond and these turned up today. The top to me looks like a roach, the middle almost roach/skimmer hybrid and the bottom possibly a rudd.

What's everyone's thoughts? Great little lake feeder fishing with white maggots, these boys were hungry!

That last fish looks like a roach to me, dorsal fin doesnt look far enough back to me to be a rudd, the root of the dorsal is in line with the anal fin and not set back like a rudd would be, lips look a bit hook deformed to me

I love fishing the waggler set to full depth but just one no.8 dropper above the hooklength so you can search the whole water column slowly and in theory not miss many fish. Probably 4 or 5 months away from that sort of tactic again now though ?
