What do I need

After chatting to a couple of you (in a good chat room Alex) I have decided to broaden my fishing outlook.

If I am going to try for these barbel Ziptrev has been on about what kind of tackle should I be looking at. I have got 3 reels which can hold various strengths of line, but what rods, and what setups should I be looking at.

Any advice will be looked at, thought about and more than likely forgotten but advice is what I need. So Goon, Goon Goon .

I had better explain that at the moment apart from my pole I have a medium feeder with two tips and a 13ft match carp rod. All I normally need for the fishing I do.

(the last one i spent over 6 months working on then the sods decided to start charging for it but they couldn't be bothered to answer my emails so the biggest part of it was deleted
