Hi all,

Just passing by to let you all know that Stu and I are back from our 3day, 2night session at RMC's Yateley complex.
Fishing the Sandhurst Lake we had 5 carp for 80lb 12oz icon_smile_big.gif between us.

Dave>> 20lb 8oz, 19lb 0oz
Stu>> 18lb 0oz, 14lb 12oz, 8lb 8oz, plus a Tench of 4lb 4oz

I'll get a report and a few photo's up in the next couple of days

this week end you could have surfed the puddle I was playing on,
60 hours wasted (again)

They certainly look good fish and most beat my personal best icon_smile_sad.gif of 10lb,6 ounce.
What were they caught on, methods, baits, rigs, tell all icon_smile.gif

What Dave forgets to tell you is:

They took 6 trips just to unload the bait

They put that much bait in that they shallowed the lake to just 8in

Due to a sudden shallowing of the lake they were able to use a landing net to catch their fish.

All the above is true to the best of my knowledge

My calculation= 1 bag ,,yours= 1 sack (25kg)
me= 2 bags,,you= i van load


I will admit that the thought of a fish in up norffff sannnds abeet reet tho' eh ladicon_smile_big.gificon_smile_approve.gif(are you gonna supply the bait??)

I held one at Stafford in april & we had snow,wind,driving rain & then hot sunshine!!! in fact i think we had all the British weather rolled into one day. (ask the lads on AN)

Sounds about right does that icon_smile.gif

Seriously, I'll see if we can sort something for next year, Scoobs isn't too far away, and Yorkshire is pretty much central to Lands End/John O'Gaunts.
There are some cracking waters around as well that even you should be able to catch on icon_smile_tongue.gif
