Hi dabby,

Welcome to the best angling site thumbsup.gif . It has the best contributors of all and you will not get to read better fishing reports than those written here,

Paticularly be Trev, Newt, and Malc.

This is not intended to decry the quality of other reports written.

Also you will find it is a site were people give contructive advice and help.

i Dabby,
Welcome and any advice will be gratefully received.

Its mainly a coarse forum, but the sea reports will add a new dimension!

Lke Esox, I read the sea tackle tips sections of the press.
Some good ideas in there!
Enjoy,
Trev

with living so close to the sea it was hard not to become a sea angler ,tried coarse angling in early ninetys and found out it was easier to open a tin of meat than go digging blackworms

East or West coast dabby, me i live on the East coast, black lug mate, digging not me, let the bait diggers do that,the hardest thing i dig for is my cash to pay for the worm (LoL).

The last time i went sea fishing was at a place called Lynmouth beach, noted for BIG COD,AND SPECIMEN BASS,
Bait we had was black lug, yellow tails and crab, we went on the Sunday, the day before there was cod beached to 15lb, Lew Marsden,(Century rods, retired) Gary Blanchard, caster for century rods, thats who got the cod, we went on the Sunday as i say,
10 hrs not a cod in sight, come home cleaned my rod and reel then packed the things away, that was about 3 months ago, but never mind always next season, hope the cod will arrive{LoL}
