went for a bit of pre-season river fishing today (dont worry only trout in this water) and caught my new pb brownie of around 3lb, the thing is this fish had a HUGE head and shoulders(would look right on an 8lb fish) but its body was tiny! it was long yeah, but the wrist on this fish was only 2 inches, if that!it looked reallllllllllllllly strange. it seemed quite old too so im guessing at some point this was a BIG fish with a big body but has lost alot of body weight as its gotten older. it fought worse than a dead bream i kid you not. on 1lb line it only took 10 seconds to land as it only made one short run then floated to the top! ive got a photo i'll try to get on soon (if any 1 wants to see it pm me and i'll mail it to you or let you know wen its in my photo book). any idea as to why this fish was like this? its also the biggest fish ive ever heard of coming out of this water thus the 1lb line. cheers fellas[
