Wednesday 10. 15am
Arrived at one of my favourite pegs on the Wyeand started setting upinstantly realised I had left my reading specs behind, so tying the rigs was fun!!! Eventually got cast out at about 11.15
Similar pattern to last time I was out.with very low conditions.
Caught 4 barbs to about 5 lb by about 3 pmall on pellet.
Sitting under the brolly in a torrential down pour at one point
.rain lashing down, me nice and comfy and dry under my brolly, quite enjoying natures cloudburstand part of me thinking lets hope I dont get a bite at this moment.when.
Yepsods law.round went the tip and I find myself fighting a very fit whiskers. Desperate to stay as dry as possible for as long as possible I remained seated (something I rarely do) until the fish was ready for the net!!!!
After this bit of excitement all went deathly quiet for about 4 hours.
Behind me the sunset over a field of wheat was quite spectacular..
Dusk brought the, by now expected flurry of activity, and I ended the day with 8 barbel (up to about 5 lb) and one chub (about 2lb)
Another glorious day (despite the rain!) on a magnificent river.
