We need somewhere to stay in Ireland

Hi folks,
We (myself, wifey and our 2 son's) are hoping to escape to Ireland early June and would like to find a cottage to rent for a week, we'll be heading for southern Ireland but at the moment we don't have any plans as to where to head for.

The trip isn't intended as a fishing holiday although a day or 2 maggot drowning wouldn't go amiss []

Can anyone suggest somewhere to try ?.

There's a spot just outside Cootehill, Co. Cavan where you can rent a cottage - even better its got its own little lake in the back garden - as soon as I find its address I'll let you know.
