Hi all, Im looking to waterproof my bivvy while the weather is good and before the summer rain comes and Im lake side !, Ive done a search on Google and FABSIL 12. for 1 litre Seems to be the right stuff but on a couple of websites people have been saying Thompsons Ultra Clear Waterseal from B&Q works even better and is 11.50 for 2.5 Litres, thing is its for bricks and masonry ?, has anyone else tried using this ?, or is just a load of bull ?

FABSIL and seam sealer. I would guess the thomsons waterseal would crack.

I used Fabsil last time and it worked quite well.

Use the Fabsil, it is specifically designed for tents and the like. All decent outdoor shops and caravan places will sell it.
