I've recently got a Browning Hot Rod Carp Rod to do some waggler fishing. Its a lovely light rod which is ideal for casting out every five minutes.

I'm ok with the reel I have, all I would like to know is the hook, line, hooklength and floats.

I aim to use pellets, boilies or sweetcorn. The venue I aim to fish has good perch, bream and carp to about 20-30lbs. Newies_maggots would know this place well, its Haverholme Park

I would use 8lb antares line and a 6lb hair rig hook length with a size 14 carp hook and i would use a drennen crystal loaded waggler which would make a good splash on impact
