Although I do not know you or him I can empathise with a close relative being ill.

it sounds like it was a peaceful end and that is something to be thankful for.

My sincerest condolences Dave. I have a small inkling of what he mean't to you, from your stories about him. You were blessed to have him as a dad.

Glad you managed to spend time with Ken before he passed. Thinking of you and your family.

So sorry to hear the bad news and my sincere condolences Dave. I lost my dad 21 years ago and still think about him every day. My mother went almost nine years ago now too. They were were my mentors and besides my wife, brother and sister are my best pals. So good you shared time together; worth more than any amount of money in the bank.

Look after yourself, your family and close friends Dave.

So sorry to hear this Dave. Sounds like you had a beautiful time together towards the end laughing and joking. Your very lucky to of had such a fantastic dad. RIP Ken
