User upgrade

I've just paid for my ticket to the fur and feather and have received pm and e:mails talking about user upgrade purchases. Can anyone shed any light?

Basically, we use the account upgrades facility for members to pay for things like matches, the pairs weekend, etc, as well as 'Site Support'
It keeps a log of who's paid for what so that the admin side is easier to manage, also the member can check at any time if and what they've paid for
