tying eyed hooks

for those who tie there own h/lengths...if you used eyed hooks do you tie them like spade end hooks or knotless knot?

Unless it’s a hair rig then I use a palomar. It’s the only knot I trust with technical lines or fluoro on eyed hooks. There is little as frustrating as seeing that little pig-tail when a good one gets away

I only ever use eyed hooks without a hair rig when I’m fishing large hooks with bread for chub. Something like a size 8 Drennan Super Specialist with a big piece of flake. I’ve never had an issue with the half blood knot and I’ve never really questioned it. It’s one of the knots I learned to tie as a kid and I’ve always used it.

Knotless for me, when using a band or quick stop I tie them as shown in a Rob Wooton video.

I'm exactly the same mate, I have always used the half blood and never had any issues. If it ain't broke don't try to fix it.
