TYDD GOTE A.C. opens for summer 2002

hi all
heres a list of the opens ive arranged on north level this summer
they are all on saturdays
22nd JUNE 27th JULY 3rd AUG 24th AUG 7th SEPT 28TH SEPT
All of above matches are 10 all in with the draw at 0830 at the GOLF CLUB TYDD St GILES & will be fished from 10 till 3 on the north level main drain .
in addition to these we have the ANNUAL WISBECH LIONS CHARITY OPEN
on sat 10th AUG 2002 draw &fish times as above but
cost 5 + 10 pools (opt). this match has a guarranteed pools payout of 500 & the same match in 2001 broke the river match record with
an all bream catch of 230lb for a local angler.

Might be able to make the 2 date's in August will let you know bit nearer.

Also once season is here i'll be over for a session or 2.

hi all
have been asked by club to arrange an extra open on Aug 17th
to use as a practice match for a local league that are having one of there matches the following week.
this will be 10 allin draw at Tydd Gote Inn @ 08-30 this coincides with north level fish in so if anyone wants to fish it there welome to .
The Tydd Gote Inn is 200yds from river & they have 4double rooms for B&B if anyone needs accomadation .

todays open had a varied catch it was won with 18lb+ of roach all on
single squatt on pole,second place was 12+of eels,perch &roach on worm on pole,third was 11+ a bream,2 perch,2 skimmers & an eel of 3-15
on feeder fished worm & maggot
will post full report on match results tommorrow
but this will give some6 idea what to expect so come over to any of them there is something for everyone
