Trotting on the Trent.

Fishing the trent next tuesday at Muskham and was wondering what sort of stick floats i will need?

I assume big chubbers are the way?

Personally I use drennan big sticks, 5bb+ or a decent sized loafer

Although, i don't like the idea of my first time trotting using old vintage floats [] I am guaranteed to lose some!

They have been sat in a drawer for the last 20+years at least.

If i used them i would probably lose a few as well,so it does not matter. [:T]

Personally I'd look at either a 3g bolo or the waggler rather than the stick.

crowder you'll find the peg you've "booked" has a big tree imediatly down stream making trotting awkward.
