nope don't do matches mate, haven't been to willows for a long long time (in fact i think the last time i fished it it was just a pool in a farmers field) !!!

Off to westmoreland (or cumbria as it is now) at the weekend to see if i can grab me a pike or ten & maybe a few nice tincas, going with a guy who should be the ideal guide for coarse fishing in the area [:D]

That long ago blimmy Tony rents three pools, only two open to public, and anyone can get a good average carp all day from 5lb to doubles plenty 10lbs I near always get a 10lber every time I go, great fun even you can catch there go on give it a try you will love it.[:D] (All the carp at Willows are in mint condition.)

Cumbria huh for pike beats me why travel so far when a tip on the seven produces some lovely pike (harbour inn) just one place that Jan porter & Matt hayes fished and got some smashing fish.[:)]

Well good luck with it, will now I am looking forward to some cracking photos of your catches[;)]

Now Alan I didn't say that. Is that why you can't catch fish, you scare them away[?][:D]

Pity you are not around for the weekend, I was going to call in on my way up to Nottingham, Saturday.

Since when was Scoobs classed as a good guide then Alan??

The nearest he ever became to being a guide was when he failed the initiation test when leaving the Brownies [:D][:p]
