It is with the greatest regret and one of the hardest things that I have ever had to do but I must inform you all that Trevor passed away this afternoon at 1.30pm.

His wife, Elaine has spoken to Mark and has said that he didn't suffer and passed away peacefully.

I will be contacting her myself and will offer all our condolences,

I'll leave it at that for the time being

RIP Zippy,

Regards, Dave

I will never forget the many hours we spent together doing what we both enjoyed, fishing and talking.

Rest in Peace, Trevor, my friend.

With thoughts of Elaine and the family.

Heart felt condolences to Elaine and the Family for the sad lose of Trevor.

I only had the pleasure to meet Trev on 2 occasions but had many contacts in other ways with him over the past year and classed Trevor as a friend.

RIP Trev.

The pictures painted by Ziptrev will stay forever in our minds.

One of the many things that Trevor enjoyed and took as much pleasure in writing as we all took in reading were his reports. Many times we spoke about compiling them into a diary and over the past few months we set about doing just that.

Unfortunately time was not in our favour and coupled with a busy few months, Trev's hospitalisation, family life and the pleasures of work, we have not yet got around to completing it - if was at all possible owing to the vast number [:)]

Never-the-less and I'm sure that Trev wouldn't have had any objections I'll 'release' them now, uncompleted but a true testament to one of our greatest and favoured contributors and time permitting, we'll add to them when possible

In true Zippy spirit I give you -

The Zippy Diaries from our Roving Reporter - Trevor

Somewhere I'm sure he'll have found his Utopia and a swim full of double figure barbel, and if you ever look down upon us Trev, tell us where the fish are [:)]

Best regards, Dave

Although I ever got to meet you Trev, from your reports and pictures and the friendly banter you both received and gave I likened you to a modern version of Mr. Crabtree.
Trev I salute you and may you rest in peace, my condolances to your family.
You will be sadly missed but NEVER forgotten.

God bless
Bluey
