You may struggle with B&Q. A lot of their stuff is metric only. You may have to speak to an Engineers Tool Supplier. What are you after? A tap or die, bolts or threaded stock?

Defo forget the likes of B&Q they won’t have a clue what you are on about!

You need a proper old fashioned engineers supplier, if there’s not one local to you try the net you probably pick one up for a couple of quid.

It (very much) depends on what you are using it for I have occasionally run a 10m tap down a 3/8 BSF female thread to attach something to my box with a 10m bolt but would not use if it was going to be unscrewed on a regular basis.
