Looking ahead to next late June/early July I'm looking at possible static caravan hire for a week at Thirkleby Hall to use as a base to fish there, as well as trips to the nearby Woodlands, Oaks sessay and Morndyke fisheries. Any tips on Thirkelby or Morndyke waters re best methods, baits etc would be greatly appreciated

I think most methods will work at Morndyke. I've had some success fishing the bomb and 8mm pellet. The Carp aren't huge but give a great scrap!
