The Loop Method.

Read again Giles Cochranes article on fishing the loop method with eyed hooks.

I just wondered whether anyone on the forum had given this method a good go and if they felt it had actually improved their catches.

caught carp to 8lb on the method so its not just for f1s and that

I use it for all my pellet and corn fishing on the pole

Used it a few times caught f*** all put a proper hooklength on.......

You probably weren't using it right power top 2 the bites will be small twitches on the float it is much better than a normal rig

Not even a touch...even from roach with a maggot on. I'll try it again sometime.

Tried it with paste today and caught 3 carp in the 7 to 10lb range before losing one. Mind you i was trying to get it up in the water to lift it over an electric cable, so was putting some pressure on the fish when the line snapped. But will give it a go with pellet another day as it is so easy to tie.
