nice one @62tucker ... I was thinking of you when I was on the beach at Bamburgh on Saturday ...
that whole stretch of coastline is a real "hidden gem" for the majority of UK population.

I was down there on Saturday morning with Daisy.
But just carrying her as not had 2nd injection yet.
Her 1st of many visits I hope.
I walked with Daisy to the point where Angel collapsed and I had a few words to Daisy about her.
Near the shipwrecked old boiler.

crikey - we were there from about 10 am to midday!

then went on to Seahouses and out to Dunstanburgh (it was just as good as I remember from the last time I went there in 1976!)

On the talk of injections.
Took Daisy for her 1st and told the injection now my vet uses is call L4. So 4 weeks between jabs. Then another week before she can go out properly. ( Angels was 2 week gap and friends been the same )
Looked L4 up and seems bit controversy over it and some vets don’t approve of it.
A bit research and some vets near me still do the L2. With 2 week gap.
But what can u do. Got to trust your own vets.

My gsd puppy had the l4 jab,and he had a terrible reaction. He was like a statue rigid for a few hours and screaming every time he tried to move. He was on painkillers for a week that gave him diarrhea and so poorly. He will never have anymore jabs, even boosters vet said it was rare but I have since read otherwise so we have changed vets as I believe you need to have total trust in your vet.

Scary that. Daisy’s had the L4 and the 2nd jab in Wednesday and everything seems to be ok.
