Well done all involved raising money for a good cause!
A word of caution though it’s alright having a defibrillator but you also need people competent to use one. A couple of years ago a chap near me fishing the Garbolino club angler of the year qualifier at Lindholme suffered a massive heart attack. A couple of us pulled him out of the lake and rang for a ambulance whilst we waited for the ambulance which eventually came in the terms of a air ambulance via a helicopter someone had brought a defibrillator from the clubhouse but no one knew how to work it! I’m not sure if it would of made a difference in this case but what stuck in my mind was what’s the point of having one unless someone knows how to use it!
I didn’t know the person but from what I can gather he was a top angler and had previously won the competition ??
