Well done all involved raising money for a good cause!
A word of caution though it’s alright having a defibrillator but you also need people competent to use one. A couple of years ago a chap near me fishing the Garbolino club angler of the year qualifier at Lindholme suffered a massive heart attack. A couple of us pulled him out of the lake and rang for a ambulance whilst we waited for the ambulance which eventually came in the terms of a air ambulance via a helicopter someone had brought a defibrillator from the clubhouse but no one knew how to work it! I’m not sure if it would of made a difference in this case but what stuck in my mind was what’s the point of having one unless someone knows how to use it!
I didn’t know the person but from what I can gather he was a top angler and had previously won the competition ??

The whole point of the defib is that you don't really need to know how to use it. Switch it on and follow the instructions. (y)
