Has anybody fished here... im just seen a write-up about it on the net and im interested in giving it a try...any info would be great, thanks [8D]

hiya jim,
i've got a match on here on saturday, if you want to hang on i can give you an idea of how to fish it,or how not to fish it depending on how i get on lol,its now called trentside fisheries and run by tony booth i think.

fished it saturday,
well to say it was poor would be an understatement,17 fished.
1st 7lb small skimmers and roach,2nd 6lb one carp 5lb 12oz and one roach,3rd 5lb 12oz one bream and a few bits,4th 3lb 2oz all small roach and it was bloody hard work for that.lots of dry nets and a swan and seven cygnets going through the pegs every 10 minutes.apart from that the weather was ok lol
think there are better fisheries in the area to try.
the hosts were very helpful telling us they get a carp a chuck on sweetcorn on the deck but you have to wait for the bites.still waiting lol
