anybody give me any info on the Boards (where the festival fished)
ie
who owns it
can you get a day ticket on the bank
how much
any rules?
..toying with trying it for the carp tomorrow

I think it's owned by the rowing club and not fishable on dayticket. Plus Your mate Mr North had his show on there for the festival.

Yes i think i have read before how he's not on your christmas card list[]

I think that the rest of the stretch is day ticket but being a sunday there may well be a match on. Don't know if they will let you fish it if they don't use the whole stretch.

You want to give the Camp at Grimley ago the report i hear was 10 double figure Carp in an afternoon to one man[:0] not bad fishing

Grimley is a well known area there are loads of carp there but also loads of carp anglers![]
I have fished the Avon a lot for carp and on most stretches you never see another angler let alone another carper
