Some of you may remember by first post on this site, asking for help to catch chub. After reading in Improve Your Coarse Fishing magazine that the river stour in Sudbury, Sufolk, was fishing well for chub, I decided to pay a visit with your advice and bait tips playing a major part in my tactics, after fishing most of the day early afternoon brought a cracking bite (one of those unmissable ones). To my delight a personal best chub was landed at just over 3lb on a light ledger rig with a size 10 carbon chub hook loaded with bread flake. Which might not sound very big to a lot to some of you but I was well chuffed, I would just like to say thanks for all your comments and tips. Off again this Sunday if we don't have too much rain!
