Hi Everyone,
Just like to say it was a pleasure meeting you all over the weekend and getting the chance to have a chat with you all. I enjoyed every minute and although the fish didn't turn up in great numbers, some of you managed to get some nice fish and got a taste of the river Trent.
I must also say that you are welcome back anytime and the landlord of the club that you had a few beer in, is planning a holiday with all the profits he made over the weekend LOL.

Thanks once again. beer-toast1.gif

Hi Mark, it is us that should be thanking you and the PAD club for allowing us to come and fish this cracking venue, I did not catch anything (Daniel has not stopped rubbing it in) but that did not spoil my enjoyment of the weekend, so from myself and Daniel a very big thank you.

Hi All,
I will be passing all your thanks on to our chairman and Archie today, it certainly was a fun packed weekend for me meeting you all, trouble is, I didn't get much fishing done, so I'm going fishing today and it's gonna be a bit lonely lol, hope I can catch a few to keep me company.[;)][;)][;)]
I'm also having a bonfire to get rid of the rubbish, if you hear any explosions, you will know I've found the empty gas cans[;)][;)][;)]
No rest for the wicked [:D][:D][:D] Reckon I'll get a few bob on all the empty beer cans I've found [^][^][^]

Cheers for now

Mark hope you have a good day with plenty of fish you deserve it, it'll probably fish its head off now LOL, i think it was the reflection from Norm's jumper that frightened the fish away,[:D][:D][:D]

and all that rubbish will be from the North/east crew,[;)][;)][;)]
they should have put there tackle on the rubbish dump cos they never catch owt,[:D][:p][:D], and it would leave them more room in the car for beer & BBQ,
[:D][:D][:D]

teepee.

Excellent weekend Mark and everyone and as for laughs - I'm still chuckling [:D]

There's a letter going into the post today to Barry Poxon (PAD Chairman) on behalf of us all and I'll get one to John Palin the landowner as well for allowing us to bivvy up.

quote:it'll probably fish its head off now LOL

I thought it did ?!? Must have been fishing somewhere different to the rest of you lot [:D}

Ceya all again, Dave

Hi Tony, I'm only going because Martin left me with 3 gallons of maggots and casters to use up [:D], his trailer was a ton lighter when he went home [:D], If the fish are on and I use all the bait, I will need 12 keepnets to hold em all in [:D].
I might call in the pub later, the landlord is in a depression , his takings are down about 400-00 since you all went home.

Right, I'm off Fishin, Take care

Teepee - I had two 'proper-uns' as well [:p][:p][:p]

Norm - Just been reading some of Trev's old posts - that peg you were on was the one Bob Roberts reckons is stuffed with barbel, they must have seen you coming and swam off [;)][;)]

Speaking of jumpers - i'm sure that scarecrow propped up against the fence was wearing one when we arrived, i'm pretty sure it wasn't when we left [:D][:D][:D]

Or had I been drinking too much

See you later guys

What a day! I thought I was going fishing BUT, when I rang our chairman to thank him on your behalf, he reminded me that we had got a fishing match at Mallory Park in the morning which starts at 8-00am! OOOOPS![:I][:I][:I] It had completely slipped my mind after the weekend, so instead of fishing I have been getting sorted out for the match. The day wasn't a total disaster, I managed to phone Ziptrev in hospital and have a chat with him, he was as you can imagine, a bit sad that he had missed the fish-in but really pleased that everyone enjoyed it so much. He is feeling a bit tired but hopes to be home at the weekend if all the tests go ok for him. He cheered up though, when I promised he could have peg 7 when he is up to it LoL.
Barry, our chairman said no problem about the weekend and was pleased that we managed to raise a nice sum for Macmillans.

I'll be on peg 7 on Thursday for sure and let you know what comes out.[:D][:D][:D]( I hope LoL)

Cheers

Just like to say thanks to all who attended the Trent Fish in for making me feel welcome. Hopefully I will be able to attend more next year(if her who must be obeyed gives me a pass)special thanks to Geoff P & Teepee for having a rest so i could have a fish. I would like to know how Dave managed to get the only peg that seemed to be stuffed with fish. ( however in a match he could have been disqualified for not fishing from the platform)
Anyway we don't want to get too serious, lets just get out fishing and have some fun!![)]

Hope to see you again Brian and if you need a passout for the missus I'll gladly write you one:::>

Dear Mrs Brian,

Can hubby come out to play? We'll take good care of him and return him as found [:D]
