Woodlands rules (sorry if you've heard all these before!):

2. Groundbait is allowed, but limited to a total of 1kg. Must be in a feeder or pole cup - no balling in.

3. No boilies, bloodworm or joker. (Chris Taylor !)

6. Carp pellets only are allowed and limited to 1.5 pints.

7. 18-inch minimum hooklength on feeder/leger rigs.

8. No floating pole - must have a float on the line. (Joe you are not floating 25m of carbon or something ridiculous, to the island at Raker or Carpvale)

9. All matches are limited to 5 hours maximum duration (though most of you Cumbrian noddies should be fast asleep with boredom by then anyway!)

10. The only meat to be used is Luncheon meat. (If catmeat is found on you or in your peg it will be thrown in the bin, and you will rapidly follow it, with a size 12 footprint up your backside)

11. No loud, moaning anglers. (thats you out for a start Chris T)

12. No falling in deliberately. (If Thirsk wanted a flood it would say so thank you, Mike Pattinson)

13. No Bloody swearing!!!

14. All Tackle Tarts limited to no pole worth more than 500 on display, and no greater than 2 top kits (inc cupping kit) out!

15. Match organisers have the luxury of picking their own peg and also a 30lb head start on the opposition

All weigh-ins to be carried out by "Woodland Lakes " staff. (Barry Gregory and the rest of his clan of grey-haired thugs are charged with this)

Directions to Woodlands:
A map can be found at the following link:

http://www.anglingforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1168&start=0

Basically take the A61 turning off the A1. If you are comin northbound then this will be the 2ND turning to thirsk, and goes up a hill. Southbound it is also up a hill.
Then simply carry on that road towards thirsk. Go through Skipton-on-Swale, and then come to a roundabout. Go straight across at the roundabout, then go round a big corner. The entrance to woodlands is on the right hand side, just before Carlton Miniott. Its clearly signposted.

Hope everyone enjoys the day. [:D][}:)][:)]
