Tench

Hi can anybody out there tell me where there is a great tench fishing venue round about the south yorkshire region or lancs.Im in denton greater manchester and fancy a trip round this region.Ive fished all the places on the liverpool side of things and the tench fishing hasnt been great this year and info would be much apprieciated.

Oh also somewhere where theres a good chance of a 5lb fish no stockies or tidlers.

ive heard clifton marina is a top tench water......just dont fish it alone lol

Well yeah i would be alone so somwhere safe would be preferable.

If you can get into Lincolnshire, try Barton on Humber. There's a lake there called Marshlands which has some good tench in it.
