Tasty disappointment

Having been on a diet for a few weeks cutting down on bread product's, measured cereal for breakfast, soup only lunches and snacks of banana, apple or orange during the day - home from work late this evening and she says I got you this:

Looks tasty but I cant eat all that was my reply.
Its for the birds dear - was hers ?

We have a couple of those in for the birds, they seem to enjoy them.

Are you hanging them or using a bird table?

I hang them on the bird feeder. I don't know why but for some reason, if they're put on the table the only birds that come along are starlings.
