I am a bit of a technophobe and am wondering if it's possible to run a laptop wirelessly from a tablet connected to the internet?
many thanks

If both have WI-FI there shouldn't be a problem. Are you setting them up as a network?

I can do it with my tablet but my tablet has a SIM card that is also connected to my mobile phone account so as long as I can get a 4G signal then I can use my tablet or phone as a hub

I don't have a land line. My aim is to have the tablet running on the phone network and tether my laptop to it wirelessly.

It depends on your provider, some allow tethering without charging extra & others don’t & some don’t allow it at all. I’m with EE & you can tether with no additional charge. Check with you mobile provider first
