Swing Tip

Caught my first tench on the swingtip, so have a real soft spot for the method, and in more recent years when teaching my kids how to fish, I’d often have a feeder out on a swingtip while they were fishing a float, my theory bring bites are more accentuated and develop much better on a swingtip than a quiver, so you don’t miss as many bites

had some really good fish doing this over the years

Still got 2 swingtip rods, one I’ll never use but the other might still get the odd outing

I like fishing with a swing-tip because:
1/ I'm "Old School" and proud of it.
2/ I know how to cast without getting fouled-up or cracking off.
3/ I love it when kids walk along the bank, stop and watch me fishing for a few minutes and then say " Hey Mister, d'you know the end of yer rod's broke?" :LOL::LOL:
