Hi there,

Can anyone talk me through the process of mixing corn, pellet and rocksalt so I can make pva mesh bags without them melting.

Cheers,

Drain a tin of sweetcorn and an equal amount of hemp and mix together in a bait box/bucket. Add 6 teaspoons of rock salt to this mix, give it a bit of a stir and leave to stand for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes it will be safe to use in pva. Obviously if you dont need this amount just adjust the quantities involved.
This is a great tactic when the temperatures drop and the fish aren`t looking for so much food, make small pva bags(around 20p size) and thread onto your hooklength with corn on the hook.
Used it a lot last autumn/early winter and had some nice fish[:)]

Drain the sweetcorn, put them all in a butty bag with alot of salt (doesn't have to be rock salt, can be any) and shake it well.
