Few months back I purchased a Maver Reality Landing Net Handle. It snapped in less than 10 outings... To a 3lb carp. Well, I reported it about a month ago to Angling Direct and the lady told me to pack it up, And she will have the handle picked up via courier and have it shipped directly to Maver for review. The handle was picked up and the ticket forwarded to Maver to take over. They'd be in touch within 10 days apparently. 10 Days passed, And nothing. I messaged Angling Direct for an update, And Maver told Angling direct to tell me that they've basically reviewed the pole but they have none in stock... And I'm to wait to January next year for a replacement. They couldn't even be bothered to even pop an email my way to tell me this by the way. Alas, I wasn't happy with the response regardless. Most companies work around out-of-stock replacements by even sending a complimentary upgrade. I didn't want that, I even said I'd accept a landing net handle that's worth even less than my old one just to go fishing.. But no. Absolutely abysmal customer service on Mavers side.

So, I get a message from Angling Direct 7 days ago stating that 'Hey, Maver will have new stock in within 10 days!'. Another 7 days has passed, And nothing from Maver. So I've just requested a refund.

So now, I'm on the market for a new pole. Between 2 & 3M. Preferably the latter end length wise but I'm willing to negotiate on size if the price doesn't cut it.
I found the reality a bit too heavy / clunky. I'd like something better quality. I paid £25.00 for the reality and I'm doubling my budget to £50.

Must be take apart. No telescopic.
Because telescopic isn't cool.
Neither is my budget.
Hence why I'm here.
Asking for suggestions.

You could do a lot worse than the Drennan Super Specialist 3m Screwlock job. May not be ‘cool’ but gets pretty good reviews. Your money your choice of course.

Was just joking in regards to them not being cool.
I'm really not a fan though, Never heard of the screwlock ones. I'll take a peep.
Cheers

Does a good one bend quite a lot with a 10lb carp in it? As the carbon 4m take apart westlake (gooutdoors) I bought seems like its about to snap very easily.
