Hi, I am looking to join a club in 2013 in order to fish a new venue in Suffolk. Interested in general pleasure fishing, currently a member at the excellent Kirton Hall Lake. Any details appreciated. Many thanks

Ladywood Nacton. I see from another thread you have details.
I helped set up club, was match sec, committee membet and a baliff
for eight years. Still a member but other commitments saw me resign
all posts.
Its a great all round mixed managed venue where most methods
work but you have to work for your bites.
I am very familier with Kirton lake as I grew up in Kirton and learnt
to fish in Kirton Rudd pond (was at top end of the lake) and to guest in the e
lake whilst avoiding the game keeper Mr Norton!!!
I know Rob and his old man Ray but have not found time to fish
Kirton since Rob took it over which is down to finding the time as I also
Fish Trimley and do some sea fishing.

Rudd whats wrong with gaps and purdis not being funny but have lived away for the lats 6 years so not up on waters around Ipswich.
Isn't there also another club with water near nacton or is it with the same club as lady wood ?
Gipping Vally has a couple of small match type lakes and Needham Lake with the river behind.

Posblue, as per your question, Kirton holds some massive Perch.
