Tried using one of those dosapiombo’s years ago.....couldn’t get it to work, the damn thing just kept sinking so just went back to using a spaghetti jar! 😀

Had these back in the 80’s and early 90’s it was the must do best way to build a rig according to Tommy Pickerings my way with the pole book,Like most now I just use a tall container and shot a rig up as I make it. So what’s the pro’s that I’m missing with these things?

Just quicker for me .on a group of 5 same floats.if using shot .and not wanting to move them.
Quick test of shot then position shot where i want them.

Been tying lots of new ones.for spring summer
The problem I had was that after using when I actually put rig it water the shooting was out not by much but they needed adjustment, they were useful though.

Used one many years ago and it was OK, bought one a couple of years back and it was useless, straight in the bin. Haven’t bothered since.

Little experiment for you Marker. Use it to shot a float up in cold water then with the shot still in place try it in some warm water and tell us if there is any difference please. 👍
