I finished a few jobs around the house and about 4 o'clock decided to grab a bit of kit, half a loaf of tesco's finest and about half a pint of nearly dead maggots and head off to the local club lakes which are about 15 mins drive away. I started off on the whip with maggots and caught roach, rudd and perch from the off then one of the chunky F1's took the double maggot..... 1 - 0 to the F1's. Time to switch to waggler fished bread flake then had a bite a chuck for the next 1.5 hours before packing up and home for 7:30 so Kathy could go to her mums for an hour. Some of the F1's in the club lake a really chunky and give a really good scrap on my Rive R127 soft actioned commercial waggler rod.... I think I have found my favourite F1 rod..!!
